Virtual Assistant V's Temp

I have been asked a few times now, why dont I just get an agency temp? Works the same way as hiring a VA doesn't it?

Shock horror, a VA will cost you more than a temp! So why hire a VA?

A Temp will cost around 15.00 an hour (normally minimum of half day hire) plus you will need to go through the time consuming paperwork and emailing back and forth with the agency, then find a workspace for them.

An experienced VA will cost around 25.00 per hour. They will work from 1 hour at a time. Most VA's are recommended by business associates, and a quick call or email will have the job done ......virtually.

Its also in the VA's interest to ensure a great relationship and review of their services. This means a job done quickly and efficiently so that the business will use them again and recommend to others needing support. Unlike the temp who will be placed again by the agency.

Many VA's are highly trained and experienced, former executive assistants, bookkeepers and other professionals and will be accustomed to a wide range of software such as CRM's and accounting. They will be working without distractions so that the task in hand is the only thing on their mind, no interruptions in the office or hesitation to get the job done.
